The
British Museum has announced an exciting exhibition for 2013 on Pompeii
and Herculaneum, filled with objects recovered from the remains of
those archaeological sites.
We present a selection of images of the sites themselves as well as
some of Peter Connolly's exceptional
reconstructions: there is really no substitute for visiting Pompeii and Herculaneum,
although we hope this selection gives you some idea how extraordinary
they are!
